Vietnam Tour Packages from Delhi

Vietnam works well for first-time international travellers from Delhi. The flight is under five hours, the food is easy on most palates, and a single trip can include a limestone bay, a lantern-lit old town and a busy modern city. At Travelistaan we build the trip around the route you actually want, not a fixed template.

Pick a route before you pick a package

North Vietnam (Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh). Best if you like history, street food and scenery. Hanoi's Old Quarter takes a full day on its own. Ha Long Bay is usually done as a day cruise or an overnight stay on a boat, and Ninh Binh adds paddy fields and river caves.

Central Vietnam (Da Nang, Hoi An, Hue). Best for beaches and slower days. Hoi An's old town is at its prettiest in the evening, and Hue has the imperial citadel.

North to South (Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City). Needs 8 to 10 days if you don't want to feel rushed, since it adds an internal flight.

How many days do you need?

Five days is enough for Hanoi, Ha Long Bay and one more stop. Seven days lets you add Da Nang and Hoi An comfortably. We don't recommend squeezing all three regions into five days, as most of the trip ends up inside airports and cars.

What a Travelistaan package covers

  • Return flights from Delhi, or land-only if you prefer to book your own
  • Hotels matched to your budget, from simple city stays to resorts
  • Airport and intercity transfers
  • Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh excursions, or other sightseeing you choose
  • Help with the Vietnam e-visa application

Inclusions change from one itinerary to another, so we list exactly what is covered in the quote before you pay anything.

Best time to go

Vietnam's weather differs by region. The north is pleasant in autumn and spring and can be cold in winter. The centre is best in the drier months, while heavy rain and typhoon risk are higher later in the year. Tell us your travel dates and we will suggest the region that suits them.

Things worth knowing

  • Indian passport holders need a visa for Vietnam. Rules and fees change, so we confirm the current process when you enquire.
  • The currency is the Vietnamese dong (VND). Carry some cash for small shops and street food.
  • Vegetarian food is available, but tell your hotels and guides in advance.

Common questions

Can I customise the itinerary? Yes. Most of our Vietnam trips are adjusted for honeymooners, families or friends travelling together.

Are direct flights available? Direct services from Delhi have operated to Vietnamese cities. Schedules change, so we check them at the time of booking.

How do I get a price? Share your dates, number of travellers and rough budget, and we will send a written quote.
